The colour of a region is the share of hourly outage schedule queues that are without power in the selected hour: each queue is roughly 1/12 of the region's consumers (1/60 in Kyiv). Utilities do not publish street lists, so the dark spots inside a region are placed at random only to show the scale – they are approximate. Grey hatching means no data (temporarily occupied territories and combat zones); where a region has no published schedule, we assume the power is on. The bars below the map show the Ukraine-wide average by hour: click an hour to see the map for that time. Data comes from open sources and refreshes every 5 minutes; emergency outages beyond the schedule are shown separately – red hatching (detected from reports in the last 10 hours, so errors are possible).
