Sykhivskyi is the youngest and largest residential district of Lviv, officially formed in 2000, with about 150,000 residents. Its borders run along Pasichna, Zelena and Stryiska streets. The main roads are Chervonoi Kalyny Avenue and Sykhivska Street; locals have long called the central part near them "Santa Barbara" because the facades resemble the sets of the 1990s TV series.
